Ensure your wireless device is turned on.

Click Start, Click Control Panel, Click Network Connections, Click the view menu, then Details. If your wireless device is installed, it should be displayed here. The status of the device should also be displayed. Click the graphic below for an example. 
If the wireless device says 'Not connected', ensure the wireless device is properly seated in the computer or turned on. The status must say 'Connected' to operate on metromesh. |
